Crypto Trading Bot Development — Python Bots for Binance, Bybit and Kraken
Production-grade Python bots that connect to exchange APIs, manage orders in real time and enforce strict risk limits, delivered with source code, logs and a deployment guide.
A crypto trading bot is a program that connects to an exchange API and places, amends and cancels orders automatically by a defined strategy. ExpertNevees develops custom Python bots for Binance, Bybit and Kraken, covering scalping, grid and arbitrage strategies, with real-time order management, API-key safety, rate-limit handling, risk caps, logging and deployment on a 24/7 server.

Placing a Precision-Safe Limit Order with CCXT
import os
import ccxt
exchange = ccxt.binance({
"apiKey": os.environ["EXCHANGE_API_KEY"], # never hard-code keys
"secret": os.environ["EXCHANGE_API_SECRET"],
"enableRateLimit": True, # let CCXT throttle requests
})
# exchange.set_sandbox_mode(True) # use the exchange testnet where CCXT supports it
exchange.load_markets()
symbol = "BTC/USDT"
last = exchange.fetch_ticker(symbol)["last"]
# Round to the market's precision, otherwise the exchange rejects the order
price = float(exchange.price_to_precision(symbol, last * 0.99))
amount = float(exchange.amount_to_precision(symbol, 0.001))
try:
order = exchange.create_limit_buy_order(symbol, amount, price)
print("Placed:", order["id"], order["status"])
except ccxt.InsufficientFunds as e:
print("Not enough balance:", e)
except ccxt.InvalidOrder as e:
print("Rejected by exchange rules:", e)
except ccxt.NetworkError as e:
print("Network problem, safe to retry after reconciling open orders:", e)
Real bots add idempotent client order IDs, reconciliation of open orders after any network error, and WebSocket streams instead of polling.
API-Key and Fund Safety Practices
- ●Trade-only API keys: create keys with withdrawal permission disabled. A bot never needs to move funds off the exchange.
- ●IP allowlisting: restrict the key to your server’s IP address wherever the exchange supports it.
- ●Secrets outside the code: keys live in environment variables or a secrets store, never in source files or logs.
- ●Hard risk caps: position, loss and order-count limits are enforced in code, independent of the strategy logic.
- ●Testnet first: every bot is verified on a test or demo environment, then on minimal live size, before scaling up.
Why Crypto Bots Lose Money
- ●Ignoring fees and funding: a strategy that wins before costs can lose after maker/taker fees, spread and funding payments.
- ●Wrong precision and minimum notional: orders rejected for tick size, step size or minimum order value silently stall the bot.
- ●Rate-limit bans: polling too aggressively gets the IP throttled or banned at the worst possible moment.
- ●Partial fills and stale orders: assuming every order fills fully leaves hidden exposure. We track fills and reconcile state.
- ●Grid in a strong trend: without a range filter and stop, a grid keeps buying a falling asset. We add trend filters and capital caps.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which exchanges do you support?
Binance, Bybit and Kraken are covered routinely, and many other exchanges through the CCXT library. Tell us the exchange and market type (spot, margin, futures) when you request a quote.
Does the bot hold or have access to my funds?
No. Funds stay on your exchange account. The bot uses API keys that you create with trading permission only and withdrawals disabled, ideally restricted to your server’s IP.
Can the bot run 24/7?
Yes, on a VPS or cloud server managed by a process supervisor that restarts it automatically. See VPS Setup & Bot Infrastructure.
Will a crypto bot make guaranteed profit?
No. Markets are risky and no bot can guarantee profit. We build the execution, risk controls and testing so that the strategy you choose runs exactly as designed.
Can you backtest the strategy before building the bot?
Yes. We can backtest on historical exchange data first, with fees and slippage modelled. See Backtesting & Optimization.
Can the bot send alerts to Telegram?
Yes. Trade, error and daily-summary notifications are a standard add-on. See Signal Bot Development.
Can I monitor the bot from a web page?
Yes. We build monitoring dashboards that show positions, PnL and logs. See Web Dashboard & Monitoring.
