Quick answer

A trading dashboard is a web application that collects data from your bots, MetaTrader accounts or exchanges and shows it live: open positions, floating profit and loss, equity and drawdown curves, performance statistics, error logs and bot heartbeat. ExpertNevees builds custom dashboards with secure login, role-based access and alerts, so you can monitor automated trading from any device.

What Your Dashboard Can Show

📍

Live positions

Symbol, direction, size, entry, floating profit and loss, and age for every open trade.
📈

Equity and drawdown

Balance and equity curves, current and maximum drawdown, daily and monthly returns.
🧾

Trade history

Searchable, filterable history with export to CSV.
💓

Bot health

Heartbeat, last signal time, connection status and error counters, so a dead bot is obvious at once.
🔔

Alerts

Telegram or email alerts for drawdown limits, disconnections and failed orders.
🌍

Public stats page

A read-only performance page you can share with subscribers or investors.

How Data Reaches the Dashboard

A Minimal Monitoring Page in Streamlit

Python · Streamlit
import pandas as pd
import streamlit as st

st.set_page_config(page_title="Bot Monitor", layout="wide")
st.title("Trading Bot Monitor")

trades = pd.read_csv("trades.csv", parse_dates=["close_time"]).sort_values("close_time")
trades["equity"] = 10_000 + trades["profit"].cumsum()
trades["drawdown"] = trades["equity"].cummax() - trades["equity"]

c1, c2, c3 = st.columns(3)
c1.metric("Net profit", f"{trades['profit'].sum():,.2f}")
c2.metric("Trades", len(trades))
c3.metric("Max drawdown", f"{trades['drawdown'].max():,.2f}")

st.line_chart(trades.set_index("close_time")["equity"])
st.dataframe(trades.tail(50))

Streamlit is excellent for internal tools and prototypes. For multi-user, branded or public dashboards we build a full web application with authentication and a database.

Security Is Not Optional

What we build in
  • ●
    HTTPS everywhere and secure password hashing, with optional two-factor login.
  • ●
    Read-only access to trading data. The dashboard never needs trading or withdrawal permissions.
  • ●
    API keys and database credentials stored outside the code and never shown in the interface.
  • ●
    Role-based access so clients see only their own accounts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the dashboard show several MetaTrader accounts at once?

Yes. Each account reports through an EA or the MetaTrader Python package on a Windows machine, and the dashboard consolidates all accounts in one view.

Can the dashboard control my bot, or only monitor it?

Both are possible. We recommend monitoring by default, with controls such as pause or kill-switch added behind strict authentication.

Can I give investors or subscribers access?

Yes. Role-based accounts let each person see only their own data, and a read-only public statistics page can be published.

Do I need to host it myself?

It needs a server. We can deploy it for you and provide a handover guide. See VPS Setup & Bot Infrastructure.

Does it work with crypto bots too?

Yes. Exchange data and bot logs can feed the same dashboard. See Crypto Trading Bot Development.

Can it send alerts when something breaks?

Yes. Disconnections, drawdown limits and failed orders trigger Telegram or email alerts. See Signal Bot Development.
